My Life Turned Around
Today was a very difficult day because I lost my family. They didn't think the God I want to worship is for them. It hurt me inside and Joshua, head of the Israelites, gave me time to think it over. When I met with Salamon the next day he looked at me and asked me what I was going to do and I told him "I made up my mind the day I met you and I'm not going back on my word." Salamon smiled and me and took my hand. My God had changed me and forgiven me of my past. I felt clean and renewed and now this man I had standing before me was starting to become the man I love.
The Escape
Today was a miraclulous day because I heard the Israelites approach and heard them walking around Jericho. The walked around time after time after time and then all the suddon they stopped in front of the gates and just began to shout. I looked at my family and told them to be ready for when our rescuers came. The Israelites all kept shouting until all of the suddon Jericho's walls fell. I didn't have time to think because Ephraim and Salamon came and rushed my family out. We ran and ran until we were at the Israelites camp. When we finally were safe I was so relieved, but then I was ashamed of the person I was in Jericho's walls.
Dissappointment and Confusion
Today my family and I all sat around in my house waiting for the Israelites. I soon heard the Kings guard's shouting "The Israelites are coming! They're coming!" I was shaking because I was ready to escape Jericho with my family. I kept telling my family to be patient and wait, but something weird happened. I heard our guards laughing and saying "The Israelites are running away!" I didn't understand what was going on. My family kept saying I told you Rahab you were wrong, but I knew God had an explaination behind this and I wish my family could see that. I have to admit though I was very dissappointed.
Sight That The Israelites Were Coming
Today was as scary and wonderful as anything. I was sitting around with some of my family when I heard screaming. I ran to my window and saw the Israelites were crossing the Jordan river. My family shook in fear, but I just told them everything would be okay that we were protected. All the screaming seemed to sease, but I knew only the worst was to come for Jericho.
Taking A Chance
Today something wonderful happened, but also dangerous. I had two Israelites approach my house today, but at first I was not sure that they were Israelites until when I called down to them and they ignored me. I went on and on trying to get them to come to me so I could help them and finally I succeeded. They came up to my chaimbers and I told them I had heard of their God and knew who they were. The tallest one whos name was Ephraim told me what I do is against what his God say's and I told him then I will never do it again and I meant it. I helped these men out in every way I can, but told them in return they were to spare my families lives when they attacked Jericho and they agreed. Maybe I was taking a chance in this, but taking that chance might save my family.
Want A New Life
It has been a couple of years since my very first blog, but not much has happened these last couple of years. Today Cabul came like he usually does, but today I just didn't want to fool with him. He kept trying to pull me back, but I just kept pushing him away. I told him if he didn't hurry up the king would start wondering where his guard was and we both might get in trouble, but in all honesty I just wanted him to leave. I am tired of this life and I want a way out of it, but I dont know how.
I Feel Used
Today my father sent me to the king. He said it would benefit him and our family if I became a wife of the king. They knew and I knew that the king had only one use for me in mind and that was being a prostitute. My father said it was a privilege because the king only chose the prettiest woman. Still I felt used and like my family only wanted me to do this for them. I know we can't disobey the king, but I'm still confused on why my family treated me like this.
